At BOOSTfit, supporting others is our number one priority; we give a percentage of the money from every class you attend to charity and, whatsmore, all of these charities are chosen by YOU. Every month you get to nominate charities that are close to your heart and then you vote for your favourite charity too, on our Facebook page.
We go further than this though, we like to get involved too, not just donate money. However large or small the need, we are here to help.
We run events and BOOSTathons, where we sweat for cash to raise money for charity and a bucket load of good feelings for you.
Our aim is to support lots of events to raise money and awareness. We ask our BOOSTarmy to rally sometimes and all pull together for a cause.
We also like to get involved and collect for local food banks, last year we sent advent calendars and chocolates. We have collected food for parents with children in school holidays who use food banks, sent Christmas cards to care homes for people who may not receive any, planted bulbs and helped with the gardens at a local community centre, sent toys and Easter eggs for children in hospital, bought a freezer for a local homeless shelter to store food and sent cards and decorations into a hospital to decorate a little girls room, to name just a few of the ways we have BOOSTed so far.
Gratitude, kindness and connection is the antidote to depression, so in helping others, you are helping you too. We were created to make a difference to the world, and to spread kindness.
